When I first read Ilona Andrews' Magic Bites, I knew Curran was male lead. He was strong, but his attitude made it hard for me to connect with him. I ended up falling in love with Derek, the handsome young werewolf. Good thing Kate wasn't into younger men. ;) But then, getting to know Curran and seeing his and Kate's relationship blossom over the series run has been vastly entertaining. Keeps me going back for more. I'm hoping to generate the same kind of interest with the secondary characters in my Bloodsworn world. Still waiting on Karess to get back with me on his story.Kathy Lanehttp://www.kyrlane.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4748832844228334272.post-79646480018794224902011-07-02T21:08:26.121-04:002011-07-02T21:08:26.121-04:00Hi Melissa, I definitely agree with Sherrilyn Keny...Hi Melissa, I definitely agree with Sherrilyn Kenyon. She has such a strong character list. I'm reading her League series now. I've only read a couple of Karen Chance's short stories as of yet. I have two Kelly Armstrong books in my TBR shelf now. Looking forward to them. They're a great counterfoil to the hero or heroine, so of course we want to know more about them. (my muse wanted to write more about a secondary character in my first book, so he's getting his own) For my picks, I have to go with Karen Chance, Kelly Armstrong and Sherrilyn Kenyon.Melissa Jarvishttp://www.melissajarvis.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4748832844228334272.post-35363482199869599952011-07-02T09:21:05.150-04:002011-07-02T09:21:05.150-04:00Thanks, Jane.
